Marcos Micozzi is a researcher, spatial sound
artist, audio engineer, and multimedia
performer. His practice explores the
intersections of sound, space, memory, and
time, translating ephemeral performances into
material and digital experiences through
immersive technologies.

He trained in Architecture at FADU–UBA and
graduated from SAE University College Australia
with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering
in 2022, with High Distinction. He received
awards including the Best Campus Major Project
Award, Most Outstanding Student Award, and
Dean’s Merit List, as well as the Destination
Australia Scholarship valued at AUD 45,000. He
expanded his technical profile with a diploma
in Data Science & Machine Learning at Code
Academy Berlin in 2025 and a specialization in
LLMOps through Coursera and Duke University in
2025, integrating data and AI methodologies
into creative and research processes.

His work combines spatial audio, virtual
reality, real-time interaction, and 3D printing
to shift listening from time to space,
understanding sound as a field that can be
explored and reconfigured non-linearly. More
than documenting a performance, his practice
proposes a language that transforms sound into
form, opening new ways of perceiving memory,
presence, and temporality. He frequently
collaborates with digital sculptor Hef Prentice
and musicians such as Desmond Cheese, expanding
sonic and visual micro-universes.

He has received international recognition,
including being shortlisted at the Berlin
Fashion Film Festival 2024. He won the SAE
International Award for Best Audio Project in
2022. In 2025, he was selected for the ArtEvol
2025 longlist at Saatchi Gallery, London. His
practice is supported by Dear Reality and
sponsored by AIAIAI Audio. His work has been
featured in print publications such as Spells:
Process Volume 2 and Prompt Magazine Issue 16,
and his projects have been exhibited in Buenos
Aires, New York, Venice, London, Brisbane, and
Byron Bay.
