ABOUT
504/GWT

Marcos Micozzi is an Argentinian audio engineer, music producer, painter, and multimedia artist. Over the past seven years, Marcos has split his time between Byron Bay, Australia, and Berlin, Germany. His artistic approach focuses on reinterpreting audio, treating it as a palette of colors rather than a finished product, and exploring the creative possibilities that emerge at the intersection of disciplines and digital advancements.

In his work, Marcos recycles and reimagines established concepts within the industry, generating new perspectives and forms of sonic expression. Among his most notable projects are The Neve Synthesiser, a piece that transforms what the industry considers obsolete into an innovative tool, and XYZ SoundSculptures, which redefines the traditional concept of live performance by pushing it into unlimited dimensions.

His work has received international recognition, being a finalist at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival 2024 in Berlin, Germany, and at the SAE International Awards in 2024 and 2023 in Cologne, Germany. He also won the SAE International Award for Best Audio Project in 2022. Marcos graduated with honors in Audio Engineering at SAE, earning the Dean Merit List Award (GPA 6.78), along with the Most Outstanding Student and Best Campus Major Project Award.

Marcos has showcased his work at events and exhibitions such as the Brisbane Street Art Festival, Lone Goat Gallery, and Elevator ARI, standing out for his live virtual reality performances and sound sculptures.

With a vision that seeks to discover new organic worlds through the reinterpretation of audio and interdisciplinarity, Marcos Micozzi continues to challenge the boundaries between the tangible and the digital, inviting audiences to explore realities that transform the perception of what is possible.
